I've been behind the mic for a long time, starting my radio journey with a bang as I co-hosted a comedy and political talk show on Raz Radio and Saltytalk Radio. Those early days were all about pushing boundaries, sparking debates, and sharing laughs — a perfect mix of humor and heated discussions that kept listeners on the edge of their seats. But as much as I loved the thrill of talk radio, I knew my passion for music, particularly the raw power of metal, was calling me in a different direction. That led me to Total Metal Radio, where I began DJing and playing the music that had always moved me. It was an incredible experience, but after a while, I felt a pull to create something of my own — something that truly embodied the spirit of the metal community. So, I took a leap and launched That Metal Station. With an amazing lineup of DJs, we built a station that quickly became a sanctuary for metal lovers everywhere. From deep cuts of classic metal to the latest underground anthems, we created a space where the music could speak for itself and the community could thrive. Running the station was an unforgettable adventure, filled with countless late nights, live shows, and collaborations that made it feel like a second home. But, like all great journeys, there came a time when it all became too much to handle. It was time to pass the torch. With my blessing, I handed the reins over to a couple of friends who shared the passion and drive to keep the station alive and thriving, and they've been managing it ever since. For about 5 or 6 years, I stepped away from radio altogether. I thought I was done; the desire just wasn’t there anymore. But life has a way of pulling you back. A conversation with Metal Mike sparked something within me — an idea, a vision. There was one show I would consider doing, but only with the right people. One of those key people was Jeff. We talked, reminisced, and realized there was still some unfinished business on the airwaves. So, here I am at Cranium Radio, ready to pick up where I left off and continue this journey. It's been a wild ride, but being back feels right. Not to mention, it's given me a chance to reconnect with some of the family I lost along the way. This is where my path has taken me, and I'm excited to be back, spinning the tracks that matter and connecting with listeners who live and breathe the music just like I do.
Hello everyone, this is DJ Joe, and I have a huge passion for music, especially rock and metal. I was raised in a very musical household, and both of my parents love classic rock from the 70s and 80s. When I was a teenager, I started to expand my taste into heavier music while still having a great love for the classic rock that I was raised on. I love to talk about music with my friends, Blackspinner’s Circle, and the Free Form Rock Podcast. I hope that you all enjoy jammin' and host and guest on several music podcasts including Heavy Water 77, The BS Sessions at the garage with me!
My name is Jerry Supe and I’m Coming to you from Cookeville, Tennessee—right between Nashville and Knoxville proudly hosting the 3 Shots Down Experience. As a kid, I was blown away by that iconic image of Jimmy Page raising the bow, and I thought to myself, This is what I want to do. I picked up a guitar and was instantly hooked. Ever since then, music has lived in my soul. It's become a part of me—who I was, who I am, and who I will be. I love many genres: metal, classic rock, pop, blues—and believe it or not—Opera and Classical. It is my absolute honor to share the music that has shaped my life with all of you.
